The factors that contribute to an individual’s risk of falling is unique to them. For this reason, it is important that care homes have a person-centred approach to manage and prevent falls. This helps to improve the overall quality of care for an individual and has a huge impact on a person’s level of independence, participation and enjoyment in life.
